GreenBandMusic, an Irish folk group hailing from Dublin, Meath, Louth, and Waterford, combines the unique styles of its members, each with over two decades of full-time performance experience. Their live album, Going Back, recorded in 2022 with the exceptional Shay Kavanagh, captures the band’s dynamic sound. GreenBandMusic’s members have played with iconic Irish artists like The Dubliners, The Dublin City Ramblers, Mary Black, The Fureys and Davey Arthur, and The Dublin Legends.

With lively vocals, fiddle, and banjo, GreenBandMusic brings new energy to well-loved Irish ballads, traditional dance tunes, historical songs, and original compositions. Luke Crowley and Maurice Carthy occasionally join the lineup for live performances, adding to the band’s vibrant live shows. Traveling throughout Europe and performing across Ireland, GreenBandMusic is a name synonymous with the best of Irish folk music.
